Was sind COLOURLOCK Leather Care Sets für Mercedes-Benz?

Leather Care Sets (Mercedes-Benz) sind komplette Pflege- und Reparatur-Sets in 4 Größen mit originalen Mercedes-Benz-Farbtönen. Sie enthalten alle Komponenten — Farbe, Top Coat, Reinigung, Pads, Werkzeug — in einer Box.

Welches Set passt für mich?

Set XS = einzelne Schadstellen (Lenkrad, kleine Risse). Set XL = komplette Bauteile (Sitzwangen, Lenkrad). Colour & Protect Set = regelmäßige Pflege-Routine. Complete Repair Set = komplette Innenraum-Aufbereitung mit Filler und Werkzeug.

Wo ist der Unterschied zwischen den Sets?

Größe + Inhalt. XS hat 100ml-Farbe + Mini-Werkzeug, XL hat 250ml + komplettes Werkzeug, Colour & Protect Set hat zusätzlich Top Coat für Pflege-Routine, Complete Repair Set hat zusätzlich Filler + Schleifmaterial für tiefe Reparaturen.

Lohnt sich ein Set vs. Einzelkauf?

Ja — die Set-Bündelung spart 15–25 % gegenüber dem Einzelkauf. Außerdem sind alle Komponenten aufeinander abgestimmt (Farbe + Top Coat + Reinigung), was Mischfehler ausschließt.

COLOURLOCK "Leather Care Sets" (Mercedes-Benz) — Mercedes-Benz Leather Care Kit

COLOURLOCK Leather Care Sets for Mercedes-Benz: complete care and repair bundles in 4 sizes

What are COLOURLOCK Leather Care Sets for Mercedes-Benz? — Four complete sets in different sizes combine all components for professional care and repair of Mercedes-Benz leather interiors in one box.

COLOURLOCK Leather Care Sets (Mercedes-Benz) bundle all components needed for professional Mercedes-Benz leather repairs or regular care — from the compact Set XS for spot repairs to the Complete Repair Set with filler, color, top coat and tools. All sets contain original Mercedes-Benz color shades.

4 set sizes available – XS for spot repairs, XL for entire components, Colour & Protect Set for care, Complete Repair Set for full repairs.
Original Mercedes-Benz color shades – Factory-accurate pigmentation in every box.
Complete tools + instructions – Brushes, cloths, pads, filler — all ready to use.

💡 Practical tip from the Detailing1 workshop: For Mercedes-Benz detailing, we recommend the Set XL as the workshop standard — sufficient for entire seat groups plus steering wheel. For occasional private users, the Colour & Protect Set is perfect — applied once a year, it keeps the leather looking like new. Do not split sets — the components are coordinated.

Open the set, read the instructions, follow the sequence

Leather Care Sets (Mercedes-Benz) contain all components in one box — follow the sequence in the enclosed instructions and do not skip any steps. The sequence of cleaning, filling, sanding, coloring, and sealing is non-negotiable.

Each set contains the original Mercedes-Benz color (Leather Fresh or Leather Colour depending on the set type), matching top coat, cleaning and degreasing agents, pads, brushes, and detailed step-by-step instructions. The components are coordinated and should not be mixed with foreign brands, as adhesion problems may occur.

With Set XS, a spot repair takes about 1–2 hours including drying, while with the Complete Repair Set, a complete interior detailing can take 6–8 hours. Material costs per application range from about 14 Euros (Set XS) to 75 Euros (Complete Repair Set). Compared to buying the components individually, the set bundle saves 15–25 percent.

Choose the right set for the extent of damage

The sets are graded in 4 sizes — from the compact spot repair bundle to the full equipment. Choosing the wrong set for the extent of damage is the most common user error.

Set XS is for individual damaged areas such as steering wheel abrasion or small cracks — the amount of material is not enough for entire seat bolsters. Set XL covers medium-sized repairs such as entire seat bolsters or complete steering wheels. The Colour & Protect Set is intended as a regular care routine (with Leather Fresh + Top Coat), not as a repair bundle. The Complete Repair Set offers full equipment with filler, multiple color sizes, and all tools for complete interior detailing.

If only a small damaged area needs to be repaired, Set XS or a single Fluid Leather (Mercedes-Benz) tube is more economical. If the vehicle is to be regularly maintained, the Colour & Protect Set or a single Leather Fresh (Mercedes-Benz) bottle is sufficient. For a complete detailing before sale, Set XL or the Complete Repair Set is worthwhile.

For detailers and ambitious DIY users

Leather Care Sets (Mercedes-Benz) are the complete solution for detailers, independent workshops, and DIY owners who want all components in one box — without having to buy filler, color, top coat, and tools separately.

The advantage of the set lies in the coordinated component selection and the price advantage of 15–25 percent compared to individual purchase. Detailers save time on purchasing and warehouse management, DIY users get all the tools without research effort. The detailed instructions in the set are designed for beginners and guide them through each repair or care step.

Those who already work with COLOURLOCK individual products and have their own tool setup often find it more cost-effective to use individual components like Leather Colour, Leather Fresh or Fluid Leather. Sets are particularly worthwhile when first starting out with leather repair or as a gift option for detailing enthusiasts.

What are COLOURLOCK Leather Care Sets for Mercedes-Benz?

Leather Care Sets (Mercedes-Benz) are complete care and repair sets in 4 sizes with original Mercedes-Benz color shades. They contain all components — color, top coat, cleaner, pads, tools — in one box.

Which set is right for me?

Set XS = individual damaged areas (steering wheel, small cracks). Set XL = complete components (seat bolsters, steering wheel). Colour & Protect Set = regular care routine. Complete Repair Set = complete interior refurbishment with filler and tools.

What is the difference between the sets?

Size + content. XS has 100ml color + mini tools, XL has 250ml + complete tools, Colour & Protect Set additionally has Top Coat for care routine, Complete Repair Set additionally has filler + abrasive material for deep repairs.

Is a set worth it vs. buying individually?

Yes — the set bundle saves 15–25% compared to individual purchase. Furthermore, all components are coordinated (color + top coat + cleaner), which prevents mixing errors.

What are the most common mistakes we see?

Classics: (1) Wrong set chosen — spot repair with Complete Repair Set is overkill, entire seating area with Set XS fails due to material quantity. (2) Instructions not read — the order Clean → Fill → Sand → Color → Top Coat is essential. (3) Components mixed with third-party brands — adhesion problems.

Are the sets suitable for beginners?

Yes, all sets include step-by-step instructions. Recommendation: Beginners start with Set XS or Colour & Protect Set to learn the process. Complete Repair Set is only worthwhile once you have experience or are doing professional refurbishment.

Care Instructions for Leather Care Set (Mercedes-Benz):

The sets come in 4 sizes – from a compact spot repair bundle to a full-featured set. The most common user error is choosing the wrong set for the depth of damage.

The Set XS is for individual damage areas like steering wheel abrasion or small cracks – the amount of material is not sufficient for entire seat bolsters. The Set XL covers medium-sized repairs like complete seat bolsters or entire steering wheels. The Colour & Protect Set is intended as a regular care routine (with Leather Fresh + Top Coat), not as a repair bundle. The Complete Repair Set offers full equipment with filler, several color sizes, and all tools for complete interior refurbishments.

If only a small area of damage needs to be fixed, the Set XS or individual Fluid Leather (Mercedes-Benz) tubes are more economical. If the vehicle is to be regularly maintained, the Colour & Protect Set or individual Leather Fresh (Mercedes-Benz) bottles are sufficient. For a complete refurbishment before sale, Set XL or the Complete Repair Set is worthwhile.
