COLOURLOCK Top Coat (Dull) is a matte finish coat for the professional sealing of leather surfaces after repair or recolouring work. It reliably protects the colour layer from abrasion, friction, skin oils and daily wear and tear, while also creating a uniform, natural matte look. Especially for modern automotive leathers, furniture and interior parts, a matte look is crucial to maintain the original appearance.

Finish Coat Technology & Mechanism of Action
Top Coat (Dull) forms a fine, elastic protective film over the leather colour or repair layer. The matte formulation specifically scatters light, thereby suppressing shine and achieving an authentic, factory-fresh appearance. At the same time, the surface remains flexible so that the leather's movements can be easily accommodated. The lacquer reliably protects against mechanical stress without making the leather appear hard or artificial.
Application, Coverage & Best Practices
After the leather colour or repair layer has completely dried, COLOURLOCK Top Coat (Dull) is applied thinly and evenly. Application is ideally done by spray technique or fine-pored sponge in several light coats. Sufficient drying time should be allowed between coats. For heavily used areas, the Top Coat can be combined with a crosslinker (e.g., IC2) to further increase durability.
