The Solo CLEANLine (305 A / B) Pump Sprayer 5 Litre is a rugged pressure sprayer that pushes up to 3 bar, with a flat-jet nozzle and chemical-resistant seals – pick the 305 A for acidic chemistry (pH 1–7) or the 305 B for alkaline chemistry (pH 7–14).
Solo CLEANLine (305 A / B) — Pump Sprayer 5 Litre is exactly the tool that makes the difference in detailing when “just spray it somehow” doesn’t cut it: you want to lay down cleaner on purpose, evenly and repeatably – no overspray orgy, no burning through product, no chemistry eating your seals alive. The 5-litre tank, the oversized piston pump and the chemical-resistant flat-jet nozzle are built for pro work – whether it’s pre-wash, degreasing, workshop or vehicle cleaning. The variant is what matters: the 305 A runs FKM (Viton) for the acidic side, the 305 B runs EPDM for alkaline cleaners.
FKM (Viton) and EPDM aren’t just two strings of letters – they’re the reason the Solo CLEANLine (305 A / B) Pump Sprayer 5 Litre saves you so much grief day-to-day. Depending on the job, detailing throws very different formulas at you: wheel cleaners tend to lean acidic, while lots of pre-cleaners and all-purpose cleaners lean alkaline, and then you’ve got alcohol-based mixes or degreasers on top. This is exactly where SOLO splits the variants strictly by use: the 305 A is intended for acidic media in the pH 1–7 range and runs FKM seals; the 305 B is meant for alkaline media in the pH 7–14 range and uses EPDM. That’s not a marketing gimmick, it’s materials science: elastomers behave differently depending on the chemistry – and the best pump is useless if the seals swell, harden or simply start leaking. So if you regularly switch between “more acidic” and “more alkaline”, matching them up properly is the basis for predictable results and stress-free work.
Pre-wash and alkaline cleaners are the sweet spot for a lot of people – and that’s exactly what the 305 B (EPDM, pH 7–14) is built for: you wet large panels fast and evenly, let the surfactants do their thing and cut down on mechanical contact in the next step, because the dirt has already been “loosened”. For acidic jobs (depending on the product logic, e.g. when you’re going after limescale or certain mineral deposits) the 305 A (FKM, pH 1–7) fits – the key is to always stick to the intended medium instead of playing “it’ll probably be fine”. Day-to-day that means: you use the sprayer as an application tool, not a stand-in for a foam lance. For real foam dwell time you grab a dedicated foam sprayer; the CLEANLine 305 is made to lay liquids down under control.
3 bar working pressure and a flat-jet nozzle are the combo that just works day in, day out: you get an even film of liquid instead of a random landscape of droplets. Max spray pressure sits at 3 bar; the oversized piston pump builds it up in just a few strokes – you notice that straight away when you’re working larger panels and don’t want to top up the pressure every 20 seconds. The 5-litre tank is deliberately built tough; the CLEANLine catalogue highlights, among other things, the very high tank robustness for the 305 models (including a 7 mm wall thickness) plus a carry strap, a base foot and ergonomic controls. In practice that means: a stable stance while pumping, clean handling when you move it around and less “fiddling” during breaks, because the lance can be stowed properly. The key specs are clearly trimmed for everyday work too: 5 L nominal volume, a 50 cm spray tube and a 1.4 m hose, plus an empty weight of around 2.6 kg (depending on model/spec) – compact enough for the car, but big enough for serious surfaces. And yes: a safety/relief valve for releasing pressure is part of the deal, so you can let the pressure off under control instead of fighting the cap.
