Let the motorcycle cool down for at least thirty minutes after the ride, preferably in the shade, and first rinse off coarse dirt with clear water. Only then apply Biker's Super-Teufel to the cold surfaces. Work from bottom to top so that the dirty solution does not run over already cleaned areas and leave streaks.

Pre-rinse. Spray. Wait three minutes.

The application is simple and tolerates little sloppiness at the beginning. Place the motorcycle in the shade, pre-rinse roughly with clear water from bottom to top to wash away loose road dust and insect residue. Turn the key in the ignition or secure the side stand so that the bike stands stably. Cover sensitive areas such as air filters, open chains in sport operation, or exposed connectors with a cloth.

Spray Biker's Super-Teufel undiluted from the 1-liter bottle or as a ready-to-use solution 1:3 to 1:5 from the 5-liter canister evenly. Allow to dwell for three to five minutes, up to eight minutes for heavy soiling. During the dwell time, the cleaner must not dry out — on warm, sunny days, five minutes quickly turns into a crisis. If necessary, re-wet lightly a second time.

After the dwell time, rework with a soft detailing brush or a soft sponge side where the dirt is particularly stubborn — chain links, sprocket area, rear swingarm. No hard brush, no steel wool. Then rinse thoroughly with clear water from top to bottom until the water runs clear and foam-free. Afterwards, wipe dry or blow dry with compressed air, especially on electrical contacts and brake discs.

After washing, re-lubricate the chain — the alkaline cleaner removes some chain grease. This is not a defect, but normal and intended, because Biker's Super-Teufel also removes old grease and road grime from the links. Failure to do so risks rust and increased wear on the chain set within a few hundred kilometers.

Brake discs are another point that is often forgotten. Alkaline residues on brake discs lead to a reduced friction coefficient during the first braking maneuver after washing and can, in individual cases, glaze brake pads. After rinsing, wipe the discs dry with a clean microfiber cloth and consciously allow a short bedding-in phase during the first ride before demanding full braking performance from the machine. This is standard workshop practice and takes ten seconds.

Not on matte. Not on hot. Not on open bearings.

Matte and satin paints require a prior test in a hidden area, such as on the inner rear frame or a spot under the seat. The alkaline nature can, over time, slightly attack the surface structure of sensitive matte clear coats and leave shiny spots after repeated use. For unsealed natural leather on the seat or leather grips, also use only diluted and rinse immediately with clear water.

Open wheel bearings, steering head bearings without seals, and unprotected electronics are taboo. Water with alkaline cleaner finds every tiny gap and can, in the worst case, cause corrosion on the inner ring of a bearing. Mask off spark plug connectors, open fuse boxes, and exposed electronics on motocross or enduro bikes with a cloth. It's best never to spray these areas directly with a high-pressure cleaner on a motorcycle — this is a basic rule of motorcycle washing, regardless of the cleaner.

Do not use the product directly after a ride on a hot engine. Exhaust manifolds and cylinder head areas can quickly reach over 150 degrees after an alpine ride. Any cleaner would dry immediately there and leave unsightly crust. Wait until the machine is hand-warm, pre-rinse, then start working.
